Rachel is a British-born blogger, writer and speaker. She is passionate about helping women become healthier in their relationship with God, with others, and with themselves. She is author of Prayer Zone Workout: Spiritual and Physical Exercise for the Heart, and its accompanying app for Android and iOS. Through her blog, Rachel’s desire is for women to know their true worth so they can live boldly for Jesus. She hosts a series called #BeBoldGirl where women share their stories of overcoming challenges to empower others to be bold in their own journeys. Rachel is a member of the New England Evangelical Women Speakers Directory and serves on the “Girlville Getaway Cruise” speaking team with Kim Bolton. Rachel is thrilled to come alongside Lucinda Secrest McDowell as a Co-Director for “reNEW.”
Rachel graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2011 with a Masters in Religion. She served on ministry staff to women at Grace Chapel in Lexington, Massachusetts, a large non-denominational church in Lexington, Massachusetts. Raised on the East Coast of England, Rachel moved to the United States with her husband and six-week-old daughter in 1995. Prior to this, Rachel worked in newspaper and magazine publishing in London, including The Independent newspaper and BBC Worldwide magazine division. Rachel and her husband Colin have three children. She loves to travel and spend time hiking and skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Rachel cannot live without a mug of English tea.
