Award Winning Non-Fiction Author
Lori Roeleveld is a disturber of hobbits who enjoys making comfortable Christians late for dinner. She’s authored an unsettling blog since 2009, a pursuit that eventually resulted in her first book, Running from a Crazy Man (and other adventures traveling with Jesus). Her first novel is Red Pen Redemption. Lori learned the most important things from studying her Bible in life’s trenches. You’ll find her off somewhere slaying dragons, or rejoicing in the recent launch of her second non-fiction book, Jesus and the Beanstalk (Overcoming Your Giants and Living a Fruitful Life).
Lori has served on the faculty at “Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference,” “Writer to Writer Conference,” and “New England Christian Writers Retreat” 2014 and 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Biblical Studies from Barrington Christian College. She is a member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA) and works with social services and families in Rhode Island. Roeleveld is one of those writers who have taken the long, slow road with many windy turns to book publication which gives her a passion for encouraging other writers along the way.
